Staffan de Mistura is a diplomat who has worked for the United Nations and the Italian government. During his 40 years with the United Nations, he was stationed in countries including Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, and Lebanon, and he served as the UN’s Special Envoy on Syria from 2014 to 2018.

U. announces summer internships to count as academic credit, CPT possible for undergrads

International students may now apply for curricular practical training (CPT) in specific domestic internships, a program which would allow them to work in the United States over the summer. Previously, CPT was not available to undergraduate students as there were no undergraduate internship courses available for credit.
