Statement of solidarity: Open letter to the government of India

We, the undersigned students, alumni, and affiliates of Princeton University, recognize, respect, and stand in solidarity with peaceful protests by students of Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University against the passing of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) of 2019.

In defense of USG

This recent presidential race was politicized unnecessarily. Feeding a campaign off of students’ gaps in knowledge about USG is not an ethical maneuver; it, in fact, parallels what is wrong with the American political system today.

On Charter’s decision and giving students control

But we must also question what goes into creating that image of wealth and what realities we, as students at an institution that claims to pursue ethical practices, are willing to ignore in service of brands and markets.

Though this season’s production, “Once Uponzi Time,” was excellent, it included problematic elements. The show was really cohesive, hilarious, and politically sharp, even by Triangle Show standards. Yet, I found the show’s use of its Asian actors unsettling.

Where are all the women: Part four

Not all women are mothers, or even primary caregivers. However, when the dominant culture pushes women into the primary caregiver role when they do choose to have children, institutions should restructure accordingly to allow those raising the next generation to contribute to knowledge production and pursue fulfilling careers.
