William H. Scheide ’36 turned 100 on Jan. 6, 2014. Best-known as one of the most famous Bach enthusiasts in the music world, Scheide founded the Bach Aria Group in the 1940s, an unprecedented ensemble that brought some of Bach’s rarest masterpieces to audiences everywhere.
