The women’s hockey team returned to Baker Rink for the first time in a month with back-to-back wins against Connecticut. In Thursday’s game, the Tigers (9-6-2 overall, 6-4-1 ECAC) dusted themselves off after a shaky first period to beat the Huskies (4-12-2, 1-4-1 Hockey East) 4-1.
The women's hockey team will take on Rensselaer and Union at home this Friday and Saturday, looking to bring its record past the .500 mark. “The season has [gone] pretty well so far, we have had our ups and downs, but we are also a very young team,” senior defender Rose Alleva said.
The women’s hockey team tied No. 8 Quinnipiac just before Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, before losing twice againstthe University of Minnesota on Saturday and Sunday after the holiday. The Tigers (5-6-2 overall, 4-4-1 ECAC) began the weekend playing against the Bobcats (12-2-5, 3-2-4) at home on Tuesday evening.

The men’s hockey team provided a weekend of wild finishes for fans at Baker Rink, splitting Friday’s and Saturday’s games with a victory over Dartmouth (0-8 overall, 0-6 ECAC) and a loss to Harvard (3-4-1, 2-4-1). Facing a three-goal deficit against the Big Green, the Tigers (2-7, 1-5) scored four unanswered goals and topped that off with a walk-off overtime goal by senior forward Andrew Ammon to win 5-4. The next night, Princeton cut Harvard's 4-1 lead to one goal in the final period but fell 5-3 as the Crimson tallied a last-second goal on an empty net. The Tigers earned their first in-league points with the win. “We’re definitely moving forward,” senior forward Jack Berger said.
The men’s hockey team dropped its home opener to No. 9 Yale and subsequently stumbled against Brown over the weekend.
The men’s and women’s hockey teams are gearing up for an important weekend of league hockey, as both squads will face off against Yale on Friday night and Brown Saturday night.
