We tried hot cocoa from 6 places in Princeton, so you don't have to

I sampled hot cocoa from six establishments in town: Small World Coffee, Halo Pub, The Bent Spoon, Starbucks, PJ’s Pancake House, and Milk & Cookies. I was shocked to find so many places serving this chocolaty treat. Every time I thought I had tried it all, I found more shops to explore! Now that winter is right around the corner, I recommend you all go out and get a steamy cup of cocoa to warm up.

A new oasis of ‘tranquili-tea’ for tea and book lovers

“We want to be a place where people can know that when they’re buying something, they’re supporting ballet lessons, or they’re supporting braces; they’re supporting families and entrepreneurs who have a dream,“ said Doria Roberts, owner of Tipple & Rose which recently opened at 210 Nassau Street.

Can't bring back the past? Of course we can: a Roaring 20s ball for the Classes of the 2020s

From fake pearls to 1920s-themed appetizers, Princeton’s “Roaring Twenties'' themed Orange and Black Ball on Nov. 4th  was filled with all the glitz and glam that many students missed coming out of a global pandemic. Despite the difficulties the OBB’s date presented for some students — who celebrated the Hindu religious festival Diwali on that night — the ball allegedly saw an attendance increase of about 500 students since the last time it was held two years ago.

We tried gluten-free desserts in Princeton so you don’t have to

Many of you may not know that I am celiac, meaning that I have to be gluten-free. While this is a fairly disappointing fact in the grand scheme of the world, I am comforted by the fact that there are still many places in Princeton to satisfy my sweet tooth. So for this installment of TTT, I reviewed gluten-free desserts in Princeton.

The arts at Princeton without the art museum

The closure of the Princeton University Art Museum, in conjunction with the shutdown of the museum during the COVID-19 pandemic, has affected the ways that many students, faculty, and members of the local community interact with the arts and humanities on campus.
