Told to self-isolate, they were four to a room

According to students who were asked to self-quarantine, they were communally isolated — in several cases up to four in a room in campus housing — with shared bathrooms and kitchens, which, in their view, defeat the very purpose of isolation.

An analysis of alumni career data, available in the TigerNet Alumni Directory, shows that while the WWS sends more students into government jobs per capita than any other major, a WWS graduate student is nearly seven times more likely than an undergraduate to go into government.

Nearly all of the female students interviewed said the culture of the department had led them to seek therapy. “We used to joke that the women in our department all went to therapy to deal with the men in our department,” said one former graduate student who was in the department in the 2000s.  Still, those in charge say the department is ultimately a positive environment for women.
