Krugman argues against austerity at alumni conference

Speaking to a packed auditorium of graduate alumni, Krugman discussed “intro economics” in the context of the Great Recession. The winner of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his contributions to New Trade Theory, Krugman is known nationally for his twice-weekly columns in The New York Times.
