“Props can be found in the body and the language of the actors,” she continued. If you step onto a boat, this all depends on gestures and physical movements of the actors, which is unlike an American show where a real boat or horse might come onto the stage, she illustrated.
A play within a play. A murder mystery within a romance within a family drama within a coming-of-age story, all within a socio-political satire about Asian Americans, and by Asian Americans.
