Take advantage of Princeton's athletic teams and facilities
Regarding 'Ten Rules for the Princeton Sports Fan' (Friday, September, 15, 2006):
Wonderful article. True and entertaining. Weekends at Princeton are an athletic "three ring" circus with so many different sports. I would add "attend a women's team event." They tend to be very high energy, invariably at the top of their respective league and choice seating is available. Also, attend a "nontraditional" sport — squash, ultimate frisbee, rugby, etc. and support the teams. Finally, be active in your own right. You'll never have this much time again to get or stay in shape, so take the opportunity now, particularly with these world-class facilities. Go Tigers! Rod McNealy '72
Cheerleader picture run in poor taste
Regarding 'Website posts cheerleading initiations photos' (Friday, May 19, 2006):
It is in such bad taste to put that picture in the 'Prince.' It's bad enough everyone will run to the website to see the unblurred images. Even with a little blur, people on campus will know exactly who it is if they know the few cheerleaders. Why would you reuse a picture that your article establishes that neither you or badjocks.com holds the copyright to? For the sake of your fellow Princeton students, I am very disappointed in your choice to run this picture. Daniel Sharpe '07
