"Today was actually the first time I stayed to listen to Big Steve. Surprisingly, amidst the rants and raves I found some truly valid concepts Stephen hit upon. Both fortunately and unfortunately, Stephen's approach — televangelist on crack (but we know, of course, as a man free of sin he can't really be on crack) — is a bit overbearing and spurs laughter before thought.
Brother Stephen serves as both entertainment and education, though it's somewhat obvious which takes precedence. Perhaps in the end he should ask himself, 'Am I informing those that sin, ultimately providing the option for salvation?' or, 'Am I driving 'sinners' further from salvation via their response to how I present?'
I stayed because I'm curious how a man of a different beliefs thinks. Only through open-mindedness will we better ourselves, in our own eyes."
