A Harvard University alumnus recently reported his tailgating equipment — including a tent, chairs, grill and cooler, together valued at more than $1,000 — was stolen during the Princeton-Harvard football game Oct. 21, according to Public Safety Crime Prevention Specialist Barry Weiser.
"They had a tailgate in the parking lot and then attended the game,' Weiser said. "When he came back at the end of the game, his stuff — most of it — was gone."

"We're still actively investigating and will hopefully recover his gear," Weiser said. "This is a serious crime that you can be prosecuted for. We hope that someone saw something and we can return the tent and chairs to their owner."
