With 53 percent turnout, Enzo Kho ’26 and Aishwarya Swamidurai ’26 have been elected as the president and vice president, respectively, of the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) in an unusual split-ticket win. All four referenda on the ballot also passed, the USG announced on Nov. 29.

The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Senate met on Sunday to hear from PSAFE, continuing a series of administration-adjacent presentations to the body. The PSAFE presentation, led by Public Safety Associate Director of Administration Bryant Blount ’08 and Community Relations Lieutenant Sean Ryder, explained aspects of their role in student safety and law enforcement, including their surveillance uses of eduroam and cameras in investigations.

Pop star Daya and rapper NLE Choppa will headline the upcoming Fall 2024 Lawnparties on Sunday, Sept. 8, following the first week of classes. Performances will begin at 2 p.m. on the Frist North Lawn main stage. This year’s Lawnparties will embrace a “fall festival” theme, reflecting the season of transition as students begin a new academic year, and an autumnal aesthetic.
