Dolan will be taking a two-year sabbatical during which she will continue research and then retire from the faculty in 2026. Provost Jennifer Rexford will lead a search committee for Dolan’s successor, with hopes of filling the position by next summer.

Shana Weber is leaving her position as Director of Princeton’s Office of Sustainability after 17 years. She will be taking on a new position overseeing campus sustainability at the University of Michigan. In her absence, Ijeoma Nwagwu, the current Assistant Director, will take charge of the Office of Sustainability as interim director.

The op-ed alleges that Elizabeth Tsurkovs advisors were aware of her travel to Iraq for dissertation research. In a statement to the Daily Princetonian, University Spokesperson Michael Hotchkiss wrote that “University Travel to Iraq is not permitted for students (graduate or undergraduate), and there are no exceptions.”

University faculty approved all eight minors up for consideration, including two new minors in Climate Science and Philosophy, on April 24. Of the six brand new minor programs approved so far, most are pared-down versions of existing majors, opening the door for students to deeply explore areas of studies without declaring.

TigerHub crashed for many students on the morning of course enrollment for the class of 2026, causing a number of rising sophomores to miss out on introductory and prerequisite classes. According to University Spokesperson Ahmad Rizvi, these issues were caused by a “technical problem” rather than Class of 2026’s larger size.
