The great laundry room war

It used to be that my biggest problem regarding laundry was running out of clean underwear. For a lot of us, college is the first time we have to do our own laundry; a chance to learn how to properly separate loads and to determine which cycle on the dryer will heat our clothes to a steamy 105 degrees and which one will leave them soaking.

Let’s talk about bicker

One year ago, Audrey was hosed after bickering Tower. “It definitely sucked,” Audrey admitted, referencing the first few weeks after being hosed. But Audrey doesn’t seem to harbor any resentment or regret about her spring Bicker experience. She re-bickered Tower this past fall and said she is now a proud member. “When you fall bicker, you don’t miss out on anything. You miss a few meals here and there, but as soon as you [get in], you’re a full member,” Audrey said. “I don’t feel a difference between people who got in during the spring or the fall.”

Fleeting Frosh Week Friendships

But suddenly, the ghosts of Frosh Weeks Past reappeared. I was painfully reminded of their existences as I saw those once-friends throughout the week. I became alarmed as it dawned on me that my previous Frosh Week friendships seemed strikingly similar to my fast friendship with you.
