Like wolves in fear of the oncoming Russian winter, the men's hockey team frequently finds itself scurrying in the November month, trying to prepare for the oncoming freeze.Coming off a 5-24-2 season in which more than half of the team's victories came in the first full month of the season, the team is looking to rebound and expand its win total beyond what can only be called a disappointment.However, with new head coach Guy Gadowsky at the helm, and the part-time help of current Philadelphia Flyers' head coach Ken Hitchcock, the team believes it is building a nucleus capable of raising its level of play.The women, meanwhile, are looking to build on last year's promising season in which they went 22-11 elevated themselves to the role of national contenders.Despite the loss of some key players to graduation last season, the team believes it can continue to be factor in the ECAC.It has already seen key players step up in the first few games of the season.
