Women’s volleyball opens Ivy League play with back-to-back wins over Penn

On Friday and Saturday, women’s volleyball opened their first Ivy League games with two wins against Penn. The Tigers have now won every Ivy opening game since 2015, and stand at the top of Ivy Conference standings to kick off the season.

Princeton breaks non-conference winning streak in 16-13 overtime loss to Bryant

Princeton broke their non-conference winning streak of 17 games, which stretched back to 2016, with the loss against Bryant. Although the team was up 13–3 in the fourth quarter, the Tigers ultimately lost out in overtime fighting through the rain to a strong Bryant team who capitalized on their opportunities when they arose.

Field hockey fell to a 2–4 record on Sunday after a tough loss to the UConn Huskies. Despite keeping things close for the majority of the game, a late surge from the Huskies allowed them to pull away in the fourth quarter. The Tigers will try to right the ship this Friday in their Ivy League opener against the Columbia Lions.

After 17 years at the helm of Princeton wrestling, Chris Ayers is heading west to lead the Stanford wrestling program as its new head coach. Ayers is credited by many as the man who put Princeton wrestling on the map. During his tenure, Ayers has produced All-Ivy wrestlers, All-Americans, and a National Champion. His legacy will not soon be forgotten.
