The days before midterms are all about hitting the books, but there's no reason they should only involve tears and empty 5-hour energy bottles. This week, Street takes a look at some of the more exciting titles on Fall syllabi and students' reading experiences on campus.

It was a Monday. The air was bitingly cold, yet my eyelids continued to droop despite the frosty sting. I had two classes down and two more to go, with only a short lunch break in between. Something buzzed in my gloved hand.

Within the first week of arriving on campus, students have been introduced to the concept of “arch sings” as a quintessentially “Princeton thing.” Many attend the longest song-fest they have ever experienced at Tiger’s Roar.
