The TD Bank in Princeton was robbed at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 15, Planet Princeton reported.

An unidentified white male allegedly walked into the bank at the intersection of Cherry Valley Road and Route 206, walked up to a bank teller and silently passed him a note requesting cash and informing the teller that he was armed.

After the teller handed him an envelope filled with cash, the robber left on foot. Nobody was injured during the robbery, and no weapon was revealed. The robber left without exchanging any further communication with employees and customers.

A TD bank employee called in the robbery to the Princeton Police Department. Police searched the surrounding area for the robber, but the investigation is ongoing. The Mercer Country Sheriff’s Department also assisted the search with a tracking dog.

The robber is described as a young white male, 23 to 25 years old and 5 foot 3 inches to 5 foot 5 inches tall. He wore blue jeans, a black T-shirt with animal print and a baseball cap with a yellow bird on the front.
