The agreement will help develop “early stage” opportunities based on intellectual property developed at Princeton that IP Group will now have access to with this new agreement.

The agreement has a pilot phase of 18 months and will cover a variety of subjects, including materials, clean technology, medical sciences, human sciences, information technology, electronics, communications and robotics.

According to the IP Group website, John F. Ritter, the University's Director of Office of Technology Licensing, said, “We are excited to be one of the first US universities to partner with IP Group. The collaboration will increase the potential for great companies to emerge from the innovative research at Princeton."
