Concert: Crooked Still
Catch alternative bluegrass band, Crooked Still, before they go on indefinite hiatus! Crooked Still combines an innovative acoustic instrumentation with a high-energy onstage performance to create a truly special neo-folk experience. The five band members build upon the traditional stylings of the banjo and fiddle with cello, double bass and vocals. The band was formed in 2001 in Boston, and has since then released four albums, including their most recent "Some Strange Country," and toured internationally.

Theater: Princeton Chinese Theatre presents "27"
Princeton Chinese Theatre’s fall show, "27," is about a young engineer in a barren, frightening land whose life changes after a curious phone call and an unexpected encounter. Theater enthusiasts won't want to miss this play about fleeting youth, unfulfilled hope and less nudity than the poster would make you think. English subtitles included. Written and directed by Meicen Sun ’12.

Musical: Doomsdays of Our Lives
With 2012 quickly approaching, what better way to spend a weekend night than watching a sneak peek of the end of the world? Triangle promises to deliver an entirely original, hilarious take on this somewhat depressing topic. If you’re not gonna go for the music, at least check it out for the trademark all-male skit. This time it’s reportedly about Mayans. Seriously though, when have you ever been let down by a Triangle production?
