Explain your outfit: Where is each piece from?
My blazer is Lauren Conrad - I got it 70 percent off from Kohl's! The lace top I'm wearing is from Charlotte Russe, and my spandex skirt is from Urban Outfitters. I borrowed the shoes from my cousin, who is a grad student here.
It's almost fall: What are your wardrobe essentials this season?
Blazers! I love the blazer because it's so versatile, it's great for layering and it's perfect to transition from daytime and nighttime. I'm also really into rompers right now. It looks like a dress but gives you much more freedom. And for fall, I can just put my blazer over it and leggings underneath.
Do you keep up with the goings the fashion world?
Designer clothes are very overpriced, and what designers show on the runway usually is not what I want to wear in real life. Instead, I get my fashion inspiration from the people I see on campus. If I like their outfit, I take a mental note.
What season would you rather dress for: summer or fall?
Fall! It's much harder to experiment with layering and jewelry when it's too hot out. In fall you can break out the flats and boots, which are much more fun.

Explain your outfit: Where is each piece from?
The shoes are Cool Cats x Sebago, the shorts are Hugo Boss, the shirt is Gant, and the bag is Chrome. I bought everything in San Francisco, where I'm from.

What trends are you excited to sport this fall?
Lots of plaid, and I'd like to get a bright watch. But I'm not excited to have to take my sunglasses off!
What's your favorite place for school shopping?
Haight Street in San Francisco is good for hipster clothing.
Do you stay on top of what's going on in men's style?
Sometimes I read the fashion blog HypeBeast.
How would you describe men's style at Princeton?
Preppy.
Do you fit into that description?
Not so much. Boat shoes are about as far as it goes, but at least mine have pink laces.

Can you tell me about what you're wearing?
Well, two of the bracelets are from Madewell, and so are my jeans. The shirt is old, but I just like the print. My watch is probably my favorite thing that I'm wearing; it's a leather wrap watch by La Mer - I just bought it online.
Have you been following the fall trends? How do you plan to incorporate them into your wardrobe?
I like a lot of the basic colors that we're seeing this season. I always like to stick to the basics.
What about Princeton style? How would you characterize it?
Everyone has different tastes. I like to think people dress pretty well - or at least not offensively bad.

Can you tell me about what you're wearing?
I like to wear comfortable and practical things. This jacket comes from Urban Outfitters, and this working watch necklace was a gift from my sister - I don't know where she bought it. My shoes come from one of the shoe stores in Princeton.
How would you describe Princeton style?
It's pretty conformist, I guess. I don't fit in because I'm from the West Coast and wear Vans. Usually, I just put on what's clean in my closet.

Can you tell me about what you're wearing?
A friend of mine had shoes like these and I always really liked them. They're called Five Fingers.
How would you characterize Princeton style?
I'm from Sweden, and I think people were much better dressed there. Here, it's seems that they don't care about style. Maybe if it's a Friday evening and they're dressing up to go out to the eating clubs, but otherwise it's very casual.

Can you tell me about what you're wearing?
The jacket is Banana Republic, and the shoes are Bostonian, which is a brand I bought in Boston, where my family is from. The trousers - pants - are from the Army and Navy surplus store in town.
Have you been following the fall trends?
I haven't, actually. Grad students are typically too concerned with the dissertation chase to follow the trends. For precepts I try to dress a bit better, I guess.

Can you tell me about what you're wearing?
The scarf is Liberty of London - it's from a London Vintage store. The skirt is J. Crew. The shirt is Oliver Spencer. The belt is from a vintage store in Berlin. The shoes are also J. Crew - I was really worried about looking like a J. Crew ad this morning.
Have you been following the Fall Trends? Yes, I like the modern minimalism we're seeing-it's very pleasing to the eye. There's more of an emphasis on buying good-quality clothing that will last forever. It's much better for the environment.

Can you tell me about what you're wearing?
The scarf was a gift from my mom. The shoes were from a store on Nassau St. - they're very comfortable. This dress is a very typical Korean- style dress. It fits Asian bodies because it lengthens your body - it's perfect for people who are not exceptionally tall.
How would you describe Princeton style?
I think there's a pretty extreme variation between those who don't care at all and those who care a lot. I think it varies between academic departments.
Which departments are the best dressed?
ORFE - those people tend to be dressed in more business-like clothing.
