Bigelow's done some not-so-amazing work in the past, but I think we can all agree that "The Hurt Locker" is a masterpiece.

Adam Tanaka: James Cameron

Even though I'll commit Hara-Kiri if "Avatar" wins best film, I do think Cameron deserves some kind of recognition for this titanic achievement (pun!). With "Avatar," Cameron has revolutionized cinema for the third time in his career. You can argue whether it's for better or for worse, but you can't deny the truth.

Mike Vinson: Kathryn Bigelow

Even though her ex-husband may end up snatching the grand prize, I do think that Kathryn Bigelow deserves it. This movie was incredible.

Sean Wu: Quentin Tarantino

At least there's still one man in Hollywood who knows how to have a little fun with the audience. Tarantino's signature style is as recognizable as ever in "Inglourious Basterds." It's only a matter of time before the Academy gives him the recognition he deserves.

WHO WILL WIN: Kathryn Bigelow

It's going to be between Cameron and Bigelow, man and wife. You could also see it as a fight between great technology and a great story. I hope "The Hurt Locker" wins. (-SW)
