University faculty and staff announced last week the results of elections to select their respective representatives for the presidential search committee.
Four faculty members were chosen to represent the faculty, and one member was chosen to represent non-tenured faculty. The humanities representative is philosophy professor Mark Johnston. Alan Krueger, professor of economics and public affairs, will represent the social sciences.
Molecular biology professor Shirley Tilghman will represent the natural sciences. James Sturm, an electrical engineering professor, will represent engineering. The non-tenured faculty representative will be assistant professor of chemical engineering Jeffrey Carbeck.
The staff representative is Dean of Undergraduate Students Kathleen Deignan.
