President Clinton's keynote address at the conference on American progressive politics next month now is scheduled to be delivered at 2 p.m. instead of 4:15 p.m., according to Ruth Miller, assistant dean for career services, alumni relations and public affairs at the Wilson School.
The time was changed at the request of the White House because an appointment the president had scheduled earlier that day was canceled. University spokeswoman Marilyn Marks said it is still being determined how long the president will spend on campus before and after his speech.
Clinton will be speaking at Richardson Auditorium on Oct. 5, the first day of the two-day conference titled "The Progressive Tradition: Politics, Culture and History."
Information on the student lottery for tickets to the speech will be available Monday in a campus-wide e-mail. More information on Clinton's visit can be found at www.wws.princeton.edu/~pubaff/progressive.html.
