This weekend, the Princeton women’s basketball team secured a chance to play for the Ivy League title, improving its conference record to 12-1 with wins over Harvard (14-12 overall, 9-4 Ivy) and Dartmouth (12-18, 7-7). On Friday at Jadwin Gym, the Tigers led Harvard, 79-69.
With this weekend’s wins over Columbia (12-14 overall, 1-10 Ivy) and Cornell (14-12, 6-6), the women’s basketball team has swept 39 out of its past 42 Ivy League weekends. On Friday, the Tigers beat Columbia for the 16th time in a row, running past the Lions, 77-48.
