Women’s basketball senior captain Madison St. Rose to spend graduate season at Notre Dame

St. Rose — a first-team All-Ivy selection this past season — tore her ACL early in her junior year, preserving a final year of eligibility that Ivy League rules prohibit graduate students from using. She’ll now spend it in South Bend, Ind.

Gosselin has been on the Tigers staff since the 2019–20 season. She spent a season as the recruiting coordinator before being elevated to associate head coach ahead of the 2023–24 season.

Berube will succeed outgoing head coach Joe McKeown, inheriting a program with limited recent conference success and no NCAA Tournament appearances since the 2020–21 season. Members of her Princeton staff, including assistant head coach Lauren Dillon and director of basketball operations Lily Paro, will also head to Evanston to join Berube’s staff.

Following the conclusion of the 2025–26 season, former Tigers head coach Carla Berube departed for Northwestern after six seasons at the helm of Princeton women’s basketball. The six seasons included a 147–29 record, five Ivy League championships, five NCAA tournament appearances, and two marquee tournament wins.
