Sophomores, juniors, and seniors in Yeh and NCW will gain access to their rooms on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 8:00 a.m., while first-years currently in other room assignments will be able to move in beginning at 9:30 p.m.

About one-fifth of students living in New College West and Yeh College are in temporary housing while construction continues on the new residential colleges. All undergraduates will have moved onto campus by Sept. 3, at which point there is a possibility that over 200 students could be in temporary housing.

Effective immediately, students are “no longer required to submit asymptomatic test samples” for COVID-19, according to a memo from University administrators on Thursday, July 28. The memo to students also stated that booster vaccines will no longer be required.

According to a University memo, both dormitories and common spaces within the colleges may be incomplete in September. Some students may be forced to stay temporarily in First College dorm rooms which have not yet been demolished.
