The No. 9 Tigers capped off their regular season in the pool with another strong showing against George Washington University last Friday, as the Tigers handled the outmatched Colonials by winning 16-6 on senior day. The class of 2017 represents one of the most illustrious and successful groups in the history of the program.
Following two exciting victories against Harvard, the baseball team (9-22, 5-7 Ivy) faced Penn (18-14, 8-4) in a four-match series at Meiklejohn Stadium in Philadelphia last Saturday and Sunday to kick off Gehrig Division play.
Princeton women’s lacrosse was in Ivy League action against Yale last weekend, beating the Bulldogs 17-9. The Tigers remain unbeaten in Ivy League play and have only lost two games so far this season, currently holding a 10-2 record overall.
The Princeton men’s tennis team members turned their fortunes around this weekend with a 4-3 win over Yale on Saturday and another victory over Brown on Sunday.
The Princeton softball team swept Penn 4-0 this weekend, retaining its first-place position in the conference and keeping its lead in the Ivy South.
The Princeton men’s lacrosse team (8-4, 3-1 Ivy) travelled up to Hanover, N.H. to play in their second-to-last Ivy League game against Dartmouth (2-9, 0-4). Although Big Green men’s lacrosse led for the majority of the first two quarters, they fell to No. 13 Princeton, 16-6, at Scully-Fahey Field on Saturday after a strong second half by the Orange and Black.
The men’s volleyball team entered the weekend with one main goal: secure a position in the EIVA playoffs.
After splitting two non-conference games this past week with a win at Stony Brook (5-5 overall) on Saturday and a loss at Lehigh (6-5) on Tuesday, the men’s lacrosse team will be looking to continue what has been a good season so far through the last three regular season games against Dartmouth (2-8 overall, 0-3 Ivy), Harvard (5-5, 1-2), and Cornell (3-7, 2-2).
This weekend, the men’s volleyball team will play home games against Harvard and Sacred Heart, on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
The women’s golf team opened this week with a third-place finish at the Hoya Invitational.
The No. 13 Princeton Men’s Lacrosse Team (7-4) travelled to the Ulrich Sports Complex in Bethlehem, Pa. to match up against the Lehigh University Mountain Hawks (6-5) on Tuesday.
It was another successful weekend for the Tigers in the pool, as the women’s water polo team felled three CWPA rivals to move to a respectable 21-3 overall record, 6-1 in conference play.
Followers of almost every college sport claim that once conference play rolls around, the non-conference performance does not matter at all. After this weekend’s results, the Tigers seem to be the latest example of this trend.

In windy weather on April 7 and 8, the Princeton Track and Field program competed at the Sam Howell Invitational in their first home meet of the season. There was no team scoring at the meet, but on the women’s side, the Tigers won nine events, and on the men’s side, the Tigers won eight events.
Both the men and women’s tennis teams faced off against Cornell and Columbia this past Friday and Sunday. While the men lost both of their matches in their first round of Ivy League competition, the women were able to pull out a win against the Lions after a loss to the Big Red to stand 2-1 in the Ivy League.
