Princeton men’s tennis wrapped up a successful showing at the Farnsworth Invitational this past weekend, hosting UNC, Rice, Texas A&M, and Washington at their newly inaugurated Racquet Center at the Meadows Campus. Featuring standout singles wins and hard-fought matches, Princeton demonstrated depth across three intense days.

Princeton Athletics and the Princeton Varsity Club (PVC) hosted the PVC Youth Sports Clinic on the Finney-Campbell Fields. The clinic featured 120 Princeton student-athletes across several of Princeton’s 38 varsity sports who ran stations in which children from the greater Princeton area learned the basics of soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, water polo, and more.

A standard of success at the tennis courts of Old Nassau, Ryan Seggerman ’22 has taken an unconventional path to the professional tour through an Ivy League university. Fresh off domination through Challengers and a home-court upset at Indian Wells, Princeton’s former star at the NCAA level made his Slam debut at the U.S. Open, one of four Grand Slams and tennis’s highest possible level.

A standard of success at the tennis courts of Old Nassau, Ryan Seggerman ’22 will soon step out on a much larger stage. Princeton’s former star at both the Ivy League and NCAA level will now play doubles at the U.S. Open, one of four Grand Slams and tennis’s highest possible level.

With a school record 26 athletes to Paris, the Princeton Olympic contingent outperformed expectations on their way to a brilliant series of performances in which three Tigers won gold and another brought home silver. Had Princeton been recognized as a country in the eyes of the International Olympic Committee, the school would have placed 28th in the final medal tally.
