After more than seven months of meetings, Princeton’s Cannabis Task Force (CTF) recommended that cannabis retail businesses be allowed to open in town. NJ election results finalized

Democrats Sadaf Jaffer and Roy Freiman won the two open General Assembly seats over Republicans Joseph Lukac and Vincent Panico. Jaffer’s win was not called until the mail-in votes had been counted on Thursday, Nov. 11. Jaffer is the first person of color and first Democrat woman to represent the 16th District.

The Starbucks on Nassau Street has drastically decreased its hours due to staffing issues within the store. Its operating hours are now from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on weekdays, and it is closed on weekends. The previous hours were as early as 5:30 a.m. and as late as 7:30 p.m. The store will return to its normal hours when it has enough employees to properly staff each shift.
