Sophomore diver Caitlin Chambers has a lot to be excited about, coming off of a perfect league season. This past weekend, Chambers dominated at Ivy League Championships, finishing first in the one-meter and three-meter events and breaking a pool, meet and program record in the process. The first Egyptian pyramids were constructed in the 27th century B.C. along the mighty Nile River. As recently as last month, Princeton cheerleading constructed pyramids of the human variety along the sidelines of Powers Field. For the past three years, junior Macy Manning has been a member of the cheer squad. Senior Cameron Porter and junior Thomas Sanner are forwards on the men’s soccer team. Porter was just named the Ivy League Player of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks. He currently leads the nation in points per game (2.0) and is second in total goals scored (14). Sanner is second to Porter with 19 points on the season, including 8 goals scored. Recently, the offensive duo sat down with The Daily Princetonian to talk Lebron James, fantasy football and field hockey.

Having regularly packed the stands in Dillon Gymnasium, the men's volleyball team has concluded one of the most successful seasons in its program's history.Volleyball is a sport that runs deep in the lifeblood of California culture, and this has been no exception for junior libero Tony Ensbury, a native of Manhattan Beach. The defensive standout competed in the Junior Olympics several times before coming to Princeton. In addition, he has played for the U.S. Junior National Team for the last two summers. After a strong freshman season, sophomore Emily Hahn played singles and doubles on the Ivy League Champion women’s tennis team. Her sport is commonly known as one of the most “mental” games. Sophomore Kayla Bose, known for her boundless energy, occupied two infield corners and served as designated hitter in 31 games last season, 23 of which she started. Currently battling an ACL tear, she has appeared in 13 of her team’s 20 contests. For the first tag team On Tap of 2014, the Daily Princetonian sat down with men’s track teammates and juniors Nana Owusu-Nyantekyi and Dan McCord. Nana hails from London, England and competes in the triple jump. Dan comes from North Bablyon, N.Y. and competes in the 100m, 200m and 400m sprints. This past weekend, he ran the second leg in the 4x400m relay which placed first in the Ivy League championship. Additionally, Dan walked on to the Ivy League Champion football team this past fall and played wide receiver. In a previous On Tap, water polo sophomore Bradley Wachtell said of sophomore classmate and goalie Alex Gow that his penchant for comebacks made him the quirkiest player on the team. When asked what this meant, Gow said that it meant that he’s a man with a lot to say. Starting in 18 and playing in 22 games this past season, the California native compiled a 14-5 record with 225 saves recorded. Colleen Smith is a senior on women’s lacrosse. The Illinois native started and played in 16 games last season, and her 21 ground balls ranked second on the squad.
