Princeton Farmers Market (Sept. 19) at Hinds Plaza. Open now until the middle of November, the Princeton Farmers Market brings together farmers and other vendors from around the area. The summer market series featured vendors including Fruitwood Farms, Bon Nut Butters, Terhune Orchards, and more. The Princeton Farmers Market provides a bright spot of fresh fruit and veggies to help us get through the week.

Ruha Benjamin and Eddie Glaude GS ’97 — Race After Technology (Sept. 19) at the Princeton Public Library. This Thursday, Professor Ruha Benjamin is in conversation Eddie Glaude, fellow Princeton professor, on the more insidious effects of technology in terms of supporting racist systems. Prindie Film Festival (Sept. 21—23) at McCormick 101. The Prindie Film Festival brings together independent filmmakers from around the world. In addition to screening a variety of short films, the festival is an educational experience for attendees, bringing in speakers like director A.V. Rockwell. Many Princeton students have entered the festival, and it is also a wonderful opportunity to support friends and peers.

Rainbrow Fresh (Sept. 21) at Small World Coffee on Witherspoon. Small World Cafe’s weekly free live music series bring Rainbrow Fresh — a 70s pop band — to Princeton. The live music provides a great alternative for those who do not want to go out to the Street but still want to leave their dorm for a fun activity on the weekend. This Saturday, take a chance to get a tasty beverage off campus and listen to some groovy songs at Small World.

Tiger Tea Room at Firestone Library. This fall, Firestone Library opened a cafe, serving baked goods and beverages to diligently studying students. In addition to the traditional cafe offerings, the Tea Room also has afternoon tea services that faculty, students, and staff can book via WASE. The Tea Room is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
