Local law enforcement deemed the buildings “safe” and re-opened all four by about 5:30 p.m.

The investigation into the source of the threat is ongoing.

“The most important thing is our students’ safety and wellbeing,” Harvard's Dean of the College Rakesh Khurana said in an interview with the Crimson.

Other Massachusetts schools and colleges, including Cambridge Public Schools, Fitchburg State University and Cape Cod Community College, have also received unconfirmed bomb threats since Sunday.
