The Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students received applications from 245 sophomores and juniors interested in becoming Residential College Advisers next year, according to Associate Dean of Undergraduate Students Michael Olin.
This number is slightly lower than the 256 students who applied to be RCAs in the fall of 2010. That year 81 students — about 32 percent of those who applied — were accepted. The University eliminated six RCA positions in 2009 due to budget cuts.
