As a result of the report, multiple police cars were parked outside the dorm on Sunday night and Monday morning. Officers were stationed outside the dorm for at least 12 hours nonstop, according to reporters on the scene.

In addition, at least one police officer spent the night waiting outside a specific room in 1939, a Borough police officer confirmed early Monday morning.

The investigation is ongoing and is being handled by the Borough police, according to the police and University Spokesperson Martin Mbugua. Police declined to comment because the investigation is still ongoing.

Mbugua added that no arrests have been made. The Princeton Municipal Court has no record of a student being charged as of Monday afternoon. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
