On Saturday, the foundation awarded the Christopher J. Georges Award for Excellence in Student Journalism to editor-in-chief Henry Rome, who wrote the series, and former editor-in-chief Gabriel Debenedetti, who was the editor.
It is the second time in three years that reporters from the ‘Prince’ have won the award; in 2010, coverage of the honor code won the prize. The newspaper won honorable mention in 2011 for its coverage of Greek life on campus.
