Film: Banff Mountain Film Festival
Experience extreme skiing, climbing, kayaking, snowboarding and even paragliding from the comfort(?) of McCosh 10 this weekend. The Banff Mountain Film Festival is an international film competition showcasing the best footage on mountain subjects. Watch 9-year-old Ashima Shirashi take the bouldering world by storm in “Reel Rock: Origins — Obe & Ashima.” Or join a group of photographers and the Gitga’at on the quest to capture the legendary spirit bear of British Columbia on camera in “Spoil.” Or even experience the world of climbing “dirtbag” Andy Lewis as he attempts to bring the discipline of slacklining into the future in “Reel Rock: Sketchy Andy.” Don’t miss out on the free gear raffle at intermission!

Comedy Show: Colonial Comedy Night
Craving some laughs? Stop by Colonial on Friday for a night of stand-up comedy for a cause. Quipfire and Fuzzy Dice open for local comedian David Freedel, with Tiger Magazine hosting the event as MCs. A suggested donation will be collected at the event and will go to a specific classroom selected on DonorsChoose.org. Mrs. Stinger at Robinson Elementary School in Hamilton, NJ hopes to use the money to buy read-along stories and audio equipment for her students. Feel free to bring your prefrosh and show them a good time!

Improv: Fuzzy Dice: Lost in Time
Fuzzy Dice has been entertaining audiences with both short- and long-form improvisational comedy since 2004. The fourteen members are excited to present their spring show “Lost in Time,” where they will perform themed games which are sure to entertain audiences from all corners of campus. As they say, “Hear ye, hear ye, come one and come all!”

USG Movie: “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax”
Who doesn’t love Dr. Seuss? This movie, brought to you by the creators of “Despicable Me,” gives you the opportunity to relive your childhood in only 86 minutes! Twelve-year-old Ted searches his artificial land for a real tree to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. Ted discovers the story of the Lorax along his journey, and learns of the environmental devastation that the mayor has been supporting. If you are an environmentalist, or even if you’re not, this movie will surely tug at your “Save the Earth” heartstrings.

Charity Event: Relay for Life
Relay for Life is back at Princeton! Perfect running weather is expected, with a high of 72 and a low of 50, and all campus clubs and organizations are invited to join in a 12-hour walking event that supports a great cause. Aside from the main event, there will be live entertainment of virtually every kind, including a set by DJ D.SCOTT and singing from the Nassoons, the newly-formed VTones and more. Music and dance groups including the Princeton University Band, the Princeton Bass Ensemble, Naacho and Triple 8 will perform, with appearances by Quipfire and Fuzzy Dice.
