Many institutions have Nov. 15 deadlines, and Harvard, with another recently reinstated early action program, has not announced its early action numbers. Other colleges, including Duke and Dartmouth, have seen increased early action applicant numbers, according to The New York Times.
Both Princeton and Harvard had canceled their programs four years ago but announced nearly concurrently in February that they would both be offering the application option again for members of the Class of 2016.
