Singer, who organizes the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics colloquium, focuses on using cryo-electron microscopy to develop algorithms for three-dimensional structuring of macromolecules in his research, according to his website. Meanwhile, Garcia’s laboratory uses large-scale proteomic data to accelerate understanding of biological processes at the molecular level.
