Campus lurer banned from state schools

Tony Kadyhrob, the man accused of luring women on local campuses, was banned on Tuesday from entering any school property in New Jersey as a condition of his bail.

Public Safety sent out a campus alert on Monday warning that Kadyhrob had allegedly been involved in incidents at neighboring colleges but not at the University, though the Lawrence Township Police Department released an internal bulletin warning that he had frequented Princeton, according to The Times of Trenton.

After The Daily Princetonian contacted Public Safety and the Office of Communications, Public Safety sent out an updated warning on Monday night but neglected to correct the discrepancy.

Kadyhrob was charged with attempted abduction of a female undergraduate at Rider University after he allegedly pulled on her arm to lure her into his car on March 28. He was banned from that campus and was later arrested but released on bail.

Authorities from The College of New Jersey’s campus also banned Kadyhrob on Friday after a tipster reported seeing a man that matched Kadyhrob’s description. He was warned that he would be arrested if he returned to the school. He was reportedly spotted at TCNJ again on Saturday night but was not apprehended.

He reportedly told TCNJ officials that he planned to visit Rutgers University next and told police he has already visited Princeton.

According to the Times, Kadyhrob described the ruling banning him from state campuses as a “joke.”

“I am totally innocent, and I have no interest whatsoever in making my face more famous than I already am,” he reportedly said. “I’m not intimidating. Tony Kadyhrob is not intimidated by this joke, a little nothing that never occurred, and I will be found innocent without a doubt.”

An unidentified woman at his home said that he has a history of mental illness, according to the Times.
