The University offers the third-best value among private colleges for providing academic excellence at an affordable price, according to The Princeton Review’s “100 Best Value Colleges,” which was published online Tuesday by USA Today.
The University’s standing improved by one from last year’s, when it fell behind Swarthmore College, Harvard and Wesleyan University.
Swarthmore was ranked first again this year, followed by Duke University. The California Institute of Technology and Harvard complete the top five best-value private universities.
The ranking comes after Yale, ranked 10th, announced a change in its aid formula for determining aid for higher-income families.
The University of Virginia, the New College of Florida, the University of Florida, the State University of New York at Binghamton and the University of Georgia were ranked the top five best-value public colleges.
