Film: Salt
Angelina Jolie stars in this wild, implausible, reality-suspending thrill ride as Salt, a fugitive CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy. Is she or isn’t she? Regardless, you know there will be plenty of ass-kicking by Jolie, who dyes her hair as black as her ruthless heart. We’re talking the more hardcore, female version of Jack Bauer here. “Who is Salt?” the trailer asks. Watch and find out. And expect a few explosions along the way. Free popcorn and soda will be available.

Film: The Social Network
Hailed by critics and audiences alike as one of the best movies of the year, “The Social Network” charts the meteoric rise of Facebook and its effect on the (now former) best friends who created it, played by Jesse Eisenberg (“Zombieland”) and Andrew Garfield (the next Spiderman). A very funny yet poignant script written by Aaron Sorkin (“A Few Good Men”) is the real star of the show, so anyone looking to see an entertaining and thoughtful movie should definitely check it out. Film: Ajami
A documentary-style crime feature, “Ajami” explores five stories set in an impoverished neighborhood of Tel Aviv. The film was very well received in Israel and elsewhere, winning five Ophir Awards (the Israeli equivalent of the Oscars) and being nominated for the Academy Award for best foreign-language film. It has been highly praised for its realistic depiction of the language divide in Israel between Hebrew and Arabic and the interactions between speakers of the two languages. This is a must-see for foreign-film enthusiasts.
