An ode to beer

During the Middle Ages, drinking water was so scarce that peasants often had to go without it. Beer, on the other hand, was plentiful. Unsurprisingly, everyone was drunk all the time and millions of horrible decisions were made.

Though that may seem crazy to us, when you think about it, the situation at Princeton isn't all that different: Frist charges for water, while a pass (which hopefully you didn't pay for) is all you need to get beer - and sometimes, you don't even need that.

Of course, it is because beer is so easily accessed that we don't respect it. When was the last time you saw students vomiting up Poland Spring or throwing Evian bottles at each other? As New York Craft Beer Week (yes, it's a thing) just ended, it seems an appropriate time to call for a better treatment of beer. Even if it is just Beast.

Or rather, Milwaukee's  very, very Best.
