Looking toward their last weeks

“I want to have sex on each floor of Firestone (B floor’s already checked off), the 50-yard line of the stadium, Poe Field, the Frist third-floor men’s room and the Dod elevator,” said one senior who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Other seniors are looking to top their post-thesis highs with activities of a different nature.

Al D’Amato ’09, for example, went skydiving Monday with several classmates to cap off his Princeton career.

Mike Ryan ’09 said he and his roommates made a “Princeton Bucket List” of things they should do before they graduate. On Tuesday, he checked off one of the “marquee items” on their list: going to a Trenton Thunder minor-league baseball game. “It just so happen[ed] to be Dollar Draft night,” he said.

Other items on seniors’ “to do before graduation” lists include Jordan Bubin ’09’s goal of eating pancakes and tacos in Marquand Library to Lily Cowles ’09’s goal of carving the faces of the first 17 U.S. presidents into bars of soap.

Tamara Weston ’09 said she also plans to make her mark on campus, noting jokingly, “I would love to use ‘Rights, Rules, Responsibilities’ as a kickboard as I swim in the Woody Woo fountain.”

Another senior who spoke on the condition of anonymity has a more socially minded academic aspiration: to hook up with a preceptor or TA.

Some seniors like Lauren Nigro ’09, however, waxed nostalgic while contemplating their final weeks on campus. “I want to stay up all night before graduation: wandering around campus with friends, drinking at all the places that mean something special to me,” Nigro said.
