Changes made to Dinky schedule
Starting Saturday, the Dinky will begin operating on a new weekend schedule recently revised by New Jersey Transit. The changes aim to make transfers to and from the Northeast Corridor line easier, and they will also add more runs to the Dinky’s late-night schedule.Currently, weekend passengers departing campus on the Dinky have on average only five minutes to transfer to a Northeast Corridor train. Those travelling to campus are allotted the same amount of time to transfer in the opposite direction. During off-peak hours, missing a train due to the short transfer time can often mean waiting an hour for the next train. The new schedule generally allows passengers at least 10 minutes to transfer to or from the Dinky. Four additional connections to the Northeast Corridor trains will also be added in the late evening. Last train times, however, remain unchanged. On the weekends, the Dinky makes its last trip to Princeton Station at 12:26 a.m. and returns to Princeton Junction at 12:43 a.m.
