Q: Has your view of your home community at home changed since coming to Princeton?
A: It's given me a lot of perspective. I knew before that I was living in the Saratoga bubble, as we all called it, and it's true that I've mostly moved from one bubble to another, but it's definitely a bigger bubble. After meeting people with all sorts of backgrounds, I realize how lucky I was to grow up in that kind of environment with the opportunities that I had.
Q: What will you miss most about Princeton when you go back home again?
A: The people, without a doubt. And campus — when the weather is crisp and it's not too cold and not too hot outside, Princeton is heaven on earth. The walk home to Forbes is sometimes a drag, but sometimes it's my favorite part of my day.
Q: What particular spot feels like home for you on campus? Why?
A:Forbes Sunday Brunch! I've never missed a Sunday brunch voluntarily, and the one time I didn't eat at Forbes because I went to Whitman was a big mistake. Forbes Sunday brunch is the ultimate family time — we debrief the night while standing in the omelette line. We justify people as rightful Forbes Sunday brunchers by whether they're wearing pajamas and slippers or actually had to dress and walk outside to get here (which just proves how good brunch is). No matter what anyone says, Forbes Sunday brunch is the best meal on campus.
