Pyne only has four official floors, but juniors Abigail Poats, Nancy Edwards, Parker Henritze and Grace Clawater live on the fifth. A late draw time last year landed them in 345 Pyne, a unique two story quad that they suspect was originally an attic or some other storage space that has since been converted into rooms.
Upon opening the door, one walks into a tiny, oddly shaped common room, just big enough for a TV, a small couch and a couple of chairs. To the right, stairs ascend to the "fifth" floor where two doubles open off either side. Given the unusual configuration, the girls had to take a lot of measurements before buying furniture, which they did, quite successfully, through the Trenton Rescue Mission. Now, two weeks into school, the girls have embraced their quirky residence. But despite its unusual layout and remote location, 345 Pyne is homier than the average dorm room.
