Williamson '07 elected young alumni trustee

Jim Williamson '07 has been elected as the newest young alumni trustee, sources informed of the race's outcome said earlier today. Williamson declined to comment, as the University will officially announce the winner at the Reunions P-rade, scheduled for Saturday.

Williamson, a politics major from Plains, Pa., will serve a four-year term on the Board of Trustees, along with fellow young alumni trustees Brady Walkinshaw '06, Matt Margolin '05 and Rishi Jaitly '04. He won a three-way final race against Alex Lenahan '07 and Caitlin Sullivan '07.

All three finalists were heavily involved with student government and other aspects of campus life. Williamson is president of the Class of 2007, while Lenahan served as USG president alongside Sullivan, who was the USG academics chair.

Williamson also served as chair of the Honor Committee. He will be working for McKinsey & Co. in Philadelphia next year.
