'Tiger Talk'

There comes a time in every man's life when he's got to take down the "Animal House" and "The Kiss" posters adorning his walls and slap up some civilized artwork. This week, to get some redecorating ideas, Dan Pall '09 asked students: If you could display any piece of fine or famous artwork in your home, what would you choose, where in your house would you place it and why? (Just to familiarize everyone with the rules of the game, Pall would mount Edvard Munch's "The Scream" right in front of the toilet, because that painting never fails to scare the crap out of him.)

I'd put the Mona Lisa in my hallway because I like the fact that so many people (including myself) like the painting without quite knowing why.

I've already got all the fine art I need in my dorm room. Say hello to my dear friend, Miss Hawaiian Tropic. She's such a fine piece of art that I'm trying to pass her off as my LA at Princeton.

I'd put a scale model of Robert Maillart's Salginatobel Bridge in the main entrance of my house. Right now, I've only got a photograph of it there, and it's not getting the job done.
