Thus, look for mostly sunny skies and humid highs near 80 through Wednesday, with only slight cooling Thursday.
Bottom line, the Northeast awaits the arrival of a persistent fall-like pattern like many Americans await the Rapture, and others expectantly await the return of the McRib sandwich.
